Hannah Baker
Hannah Baker has been the editor of knitscene since 2016. Previously, she served as an assistant editor Interweave Knits for three years.
Hannah grew up in Manhattan and attended the state school, Kansas State University. After graduating with a degree in Anthropology, she worked for K-State Libraries in the Interlibrary Loan department. She still uses the Interlibrary Loan service through the Poudre River Public Library, and highly recommends it to any avid reader whose library offers the service.
Hannah learned to knit in high school from friends, and passed off the skill to other friends that also still knit today. While she has always loved easy and fast projects, her time at Interweave has proven to be incredibly educational. She has become much braver in the past few years, and refuses to let something that looks tricky to scare her off if she really wants to knit it. It doesn’t hurt that she has a safety net of knitting experts surrounding her!
In addition to knitting, Hannah enjoys singing, reading, eating, and spending time her dog Girlfriend, and her amazing friends.
