Fresh Spring Knitting Patterns!
Things at Interweave Knits are so busy and crazy right now, and I have to admit that I love that. We have some exciting things in the works, and in the meantime there are new spring knitting patterns in the Interweave store for individual sale. Sunday marked the official beginning of spring, though just a few days in we got an actual blizzard here in Fort Collins. Happy spring, Colorado! I’m looking to these spring patterns to keep me going until it actually feels like spring outside.
There are some great projects in the Knits Spring 2016 issue for the end of winter knitting—some nice, big, indoor home projects that are great regardless of the weather outside. The Spectrum Pouf by Vicki Square is one of them.
The rainbow color palette is perfect for springtime vibes in your home, even if spring isn’t quite ready for you outside.
There are also some beautiful spring shawl patterns to tide us over to warmer weather. The Krokos Shawl by Anne Hanson, in the (perfectly titled) Spring Thaw story, is knit with the scrumptious Bare Naked Wools Better Breakfast DK. The lace pattern in this shawl is gorgeous and a deviation from traditional uber-feminine lace knits.
Happy spring, wherever you are, and whatever the weather is doing! I hope these spring knitting patterns bring you joy and warmth.
