Description

Pinwheeling eyelet lines create stripes that spiral up the sides of the Freewheel Tote. Overlapping knitted fabric in contrasting colors and a full lining add strength and detail to strong, simple lines.

Finished Size: 17½ ” tall, excluding straps, and 15″ diameter.
Yarn:

Brown Sheep Company Cotton Fine (80% cotton, 20% merino wool; 222 yd [203 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]): #CF455 willow leaf (MC) and #CF400 new age teal (CC), 3 skeins each.
Yarn Weight:

#2 – Fine
Needles:

Size 3 (3.25 mm): 24″ circular (cir), 2 more cir 24″ or longer, and set of 4 double-pointed (dpn). Size 5 (3.75 mm): 2 dpn. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions:

Markers (m); removable markers; stitch holders; tapestry needle; 3 yd of lightweight canvas lining fabric (4 yd if using stripes to cut on bias); sewing needle and matching thread.
Gauge:

24 sts and 28 rows = 4″ in St st on smaller needle.
