Escher Poncho by Shaina Bilow, from knit.wear, Spring/Summer 2016
A bold project for the contemporary knitter, this design combines inspiration from modern art and scrap quilting. The poncho is made in three separate striped and biased strips. The strips are seamed together to create a unique, dimensional fabric. A garter-stitch border adds a pop of a contrasting color around all the exposed edges.
