This hat is made from a scarf-like length of knitting. After binding off, the two ends are brought across one another and stitched to the center back of the crown.
FINISHED SIZE 7” wide and 43” long strip.
YARN Fyberspates Scrumptious 4-ply/ Sport (45% silk, 55% superwash merino; 399 yd [365 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #314 deep chestnut, 1 skein. Yarn distributed by Lantern Moon.
NEEDLES Size 2 (2.75 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
NOTIONS Tapestry needle; removable marker (m).
GAUGE 32 sts and 40 rows = 4” in St st.
