Easy Top Down Knitting: Natalia from Knitscene Spring

The Natalia Sweater KAL is still going strong on Ravelry, but I’m excited to say that I’ve finished my sweater! This pattern is such an easy knit, as many top down knitting patterns can be, and it practically flew off my needles!

Working top down knitting patterns is nice because you can try the sweater on as you go to make sure you’re getting the right fit. Just slip the live stitches to a long piece of waste yarn and pull it on over your head!

The yarn used in this sweater, Classic Elite Yarns Liberty Wool and Liberty Wool Print, is so soft. I love wearing this sweater with just a simple tank top underneath, making it a great layering piece for spring. And I’m so pleased with the colors I chose, too! I think the bright pink to purple transition really pops against the black, but there are so many different color combinations to choose from, I could easily knit this again in different colors and love that sweater just as much.

What have you knit from Knitscene Spring that you love? Let me know in the comments!
