Calder Pullover

Sweater Knitting PatternThe Calder Pullover by Rebecca Blair is featured in Interweave Knits Fall 2016. The pattern can be purchased on its own or with the magazine.

The Calder Pullover is a long, loose V-neck tunic adorned with an allover pattern of garter stitch leaves set off from each other with eyelets and columns of meandering decreases. The tunic is meant to fit loosely for layering, with 4 to 6 inches of positive ease.

Skill Level Intermediate

Finished Size 35½ (39, 42¾, 46¼, 49¾)” bust circumference. Pullover shown measures 39″; modeled with 5″ of positive ease.

Yarn Baa Ram Ewe Dovestone DK (50% bluefaced Leicester, 25% Wensleydale longwool, 25% dark brown Masham; 252 yd [230 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): aire, 4 (5, 5, 6, 6) skeins.

Needles Sizes 6 (4 mm) and 8 (5 mm): 32″ circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Size 6 (4 mm): 24″ cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle.

Gauge 18 sts and 28 rows = 4″ in charted patt on larger needle.
