Brighten Up Winter with Color Knitting!
I love winter, but sometimes I miss the colors of summer. How do I remedy this? With color knitting, of course.
There are so many colorful knits to make, how do you choose? That's where Interweave Knits comes in! Here are some of my favorites from the Winter 2012 issue of Knits:
|Professor Jackson's Scarf by Ivete Tecedor||Pheobe's Vest Daniella Nii|
|Molly's Carpetbag by Cricket Toomey||Snowbird Capelet by Andrea Babb|
Designer Ivete Tecodor pumped up a houndstooth pattern in Professor Jackson's Scarf. It's a striking take on a classic. Phoebe's Vest is Daniella Nii's take on the schoolgirl vest; columns of broken rib and striped bands lend a little college prep.
I absolutely love Molly's Carpetbag. Cricket Toomey's subtle colorwork pattern and leather trim make a it luxurious take on an old standby. The Snowbird Capelet is like a sun break on a cold, cloudy day. Andrea Babb uses pops of color to brighten up a snowy motif.
Pretty fun projects, right? Subscribe to Interweave Knits today and get some color into your life!
