Become Etsy Savvy with Sarah Wilson's Webinar!

The e-commerce website Etsy was started in 2005 and has come quite a long way in ten years. If you are unfamiliar, take a look around–there’s a lot to see! Over 30 million users (as of 2013) use this platform to buy and sell vintage items, handmade goods, art, craft supplies, clothes, jewelry, fabric . . . you name it, it’s there. I have a modest shop myself with some pottery and a few knitted things, and I have several friends who have shops selling their knitted stuff, pottery, art, prints, jewelry, and hand-bound journals. Although there is a lot to know about optimizing your shop and visibility on Etsy, it’s very easy to get started and use the website to make some money selling the fruits of your craft, whether it’s intended to be a main source of income or supplemental funds from a hobby.

If selling your knitted, crocheted, or other crafted wares online interests you, but you’re not really sure how to start, we have a fantastic webinar coming up just for you. Etsy guru Sarah Wilson (a.k.a. The Sexy Knitter) wants to help you figure out the best name for your shop and give you tips and tricks on getting things into and running your shop. After that it takes maintenance–knowing about payments, shipments, and interactions with customers to keep your shop in order and in good standing. She’ll also provide some tips on how to make your Etsy shop visibly pleasing by doing things like putting up a distinctive banner. It’s all about having a unique product and making it known!

Register now for Sarah Wilson's Webinar, "Sell Your Knitting Projects on Etsy."
When is it? This Wednesday, December 17th, 1 PM Eastern time (lasts 1 hour).

I'll be there! Will you?
