This classic sweater silhouette uses on-trend gradient and speckled yarns in a unique way—by alternating stripes of solid and gradient yarn. The foldover hem, split side seam, and ribbing make this otherwise simple pullover interesting to knit.

Finished Size 36 (40, 44, 48, 53)” bust circumference. Pullover shown measures 40″; modeled with 6″ of positive ease.

Yarn Universal Yarn Cotton Supreme DK (100% cotton; 230 yd [210 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #724 grey (MC), 3 (3, 4, 4, 4) skeins. Universal Yarn Cotton Supreme DK Seaspray (100% cotton; 230 yd [210 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #306 storm (CC), 2 (2, 3, 3, 3) skeins.

Needles Sizes 4 (3.5 mm) and 6 (4 mm): straight. Size 4 (3.5 mm): 24″ circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers (m); removable m; stitch holders; tapestry needle; size E/4 (3.5 mm) crochet hook.

Gauge 20 sts and 28 rows = 4″ in St st on larger needles.
