addi® Turbo Rockets Knitting Needles—I’d Marry Them!

In case you haven’t heard, it’s already February! Ah yes, the month of the infamous holiday loved by some and loathed by many: Valentine’s Day.  I am personally fairly neutral about the holiday, though I proudly admit that I am a sucker for the candy that’s only available this time of year. I don’t have plans for the big day this year, except that I’ll probably be knitting and Netflixing—or Knitflixing, if you will—since it falls on the weekend. That does not mean this holiday will be without love. I’ve been knitting with the addi® Turbo Rockets knitting needles set from Skacel since we started selling them through the Interweave Store, and I can honestly say I love them so much I’d marry them!

The Cadillac of knitting needles!

The Cadillac of knitting needles!

The physical act of knitting is so relaxing. Knitting has been proven to be a therapeutic activity, and I think a lot of this is because of the repetitive motions you make, especially if you are knitting a project in something like stockinette stitch. These nickel-plated knitting needles are so smooth and don’t make the yarn stick, and those factors combined with the Turbo tips make for really fast, easy, and smooth knitting. For me,  it has made the relaxing experience of knitting even more so.

This set includes eight 32″ circular needles in sizes 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 and a handy case with mylar pockets for each needle. It’s easy to keep them all together and organized, ready for whatever size you might need next. These things are great for knitting the bodies of sweaters because of the cable length and dexterity. I seriously love these things so much! One of these days I hope to acquire every single knitting needle type and size from addi®. As Lisa Shroyer once said, they really are the Cadillac of knitting needles.

Happy Valentine’s knitting,
Hannah Signature
