Savannah has some seriously cute yarn shops! Within an easy walk of the Interweave Escapes hotel, you’ll find Frayed Knot, a cute shop with tons of inspiring samples, a cheery atmosphere, helpful staff, and a fantastic selection of yarn and roving. A bit further afield is Unwind Yarn & Gifts, a shop packed with all kinds of goodies, including yarn, notions, accessories. Explore both shops to find a skein (or five) to commemorate your trip.

Also, be sure to check out Starlandia, a reclaimed art supply store where you can find all kinds of second hand materials donated by artists and creators in the community—including yarn!

The Fiber Guild of the Savannahs is a passionate community of fiber enthusiasts, dedicated to preserving and promoting traditional and contemporary fiber arts through workshops, exhibitions, and collaborative projects. Reach out to them here to arrange a visit!

Trish Andersen is a well-known fiber and textile artist in the Savannah area, known for her tufted rugs, artwork, and home decor items. Her colorful designs are incredibly dimensional and inspiring in their scale. The Trish Andersen Studio offers visits on a case by case basis.
