A Fond Farewell

This is hard for me to write, but I wanted to let you know that I’m moving on from Interweave, so I have to say goodbye—at least as the editor of the Knitting Daily newsletter.

Kathleen Cubley, editor of Knitting Daily, modeling a seed-stitch knitted infinity scarf.

Here I am, modeling a seed-stitch infinity scarf (Multigrain is the pattern name), which I finally finished at a recent knitting retreat. Please excuse the goofy smile!

I’ve loved writing for you for the last seven years, and hearing from you in comments on the blogs and in the old forum. What a wonderful, smart, beautiful group of knitters you are! Thank you for enriching my life.

I know you’re wondering what I’ll be up to, and what you have to look forward to in Knitting Daily. Well, I’ll be concentrating on my own blog, The Craftermath, and working with other publishers as a freelancer. I’m looking forward to spreading my wings with these new opportunities.

As far as Knitting Daily goes, there’s some really exciting stuff coming up! You’ll be hearing from the editors of all of your favorite magazines, and seeing fun images and videos from our team. You’ll still get advance notice of all of our wonderful books, magazines, videos, and kits. I’m excited for Interweave, and for you!

But I will miss you terribly, so I hope you’ll visit me on my blog and on Ravelry (I’m kathcub over there).

I have one more newsletter coming on Monday, but I wanted to let you know today that I’m leaving, in case you have questions or comments (please leave them in the comments section, below).

Again, thank you for spending a bit of your day with me throughout the years, and I wish you health, happiness, and great knitting in the years to come!

Cheers,
