Finding Your Yarn Soul Mate—the Search Continues

In this day and age, finding THE ONE can seem like a futile endeavor. Sometimes it feels like we could search the entire world, and nothing would be right. Our soul mate is out there somewhere, we can feel it, but they must be hiding, tucked away in some kind of attic or basement storage somewhere.

Significant others? Those are easy enough to find. Just download one of those fancy find-the-love-of-your life apps, and swipe left or right to your romantic destiny. It’s cake. Finding the perfect yarn, though? Yes, yes, there are many fish in the sea. Many skeins in the LYS. But how will you ever find THE ONE?

Well, perhaps we can help. Much like we do with potential significant others, we tend to make snap judgments on yarns based on the way they look. This will suffice for finding a human to spend the rest of your life with, but there is a deeper level to finding your yarn soul mate.
