Events and Happenings Around the Annual Tucson Shows

You might think of the annual Tucson shows as just a place to shop for gems, jewelry, minerals, fossils, and beads. And that is, of course, the main purpose of the shows. But did you know there’s a lot more going on in Tucson during the shows? Meetings, lectures, seminars, parties, dinners, classes and workshops, and much more — all take place in conjunction with the usual shows. (For more to see and do around Tucson during the annual gem shows — as well as complete info on all the shows — check out the 2018 Tucson Show Guide.)

Below is a list of the major events happening during the Tucson shows. Many (but certainly not all) of them are invitation-only or open just to members. But if something grabs your interest, visit the websites provided and look into attendance policies. These groups are always happy to hear from you — and they love new members.
