What We'll be Looking For at the Tucson Gem Shows

✓Join us at Maker Festivals Pennsylvania, the ultimate crafting extravaganza in Lancaster from July 31-August 3, 2024, and we will once again be bringing our fiber artists with us! Our festival lineup will have thousands of fiber artists, and jewelry makers!

Visiting the Tucson gem, bead, mineral, and fossil shows is part shopping excursion, treasure hunt, family reunion, and cultural experience. We look forward to it every year! The Tucson Show Guide is your guide to all the shows, but here’s a sneak peek at what we’ll be looking for during our week in the desert.

There are always interesting and unusual finds at every show, from this amethyst geode to gemstone wings and more. We take as many pictures as we can because we rarely return home with oversized items like this one.

In addition to the amazing treasures for sale around town, we look forward to being inspired by the murals and other works of art that dot the city. Look for sculptures at Gene C Reid Park and cross the Rattlesnake Bridge over Broadway Boulevard.

Tucson is home to many inspiring restaurants, bars, and places to gather. We enjoy twists on international fare and good old-fashioned comfort food such as this sandwich from HUB. Tucson has been designated a City of Gastronomy by UNESCO.
