Metal Clay Classes at Bead Fest PA

As I write this, there are two classes that have open spots. Sulie Girardi specializes in metal clay and has three spots available in two of her courses. Simply Square and Abalone Wave are both great classes for those with little to no experience with metal clay.

In the Simply Square course, you will learn to set larger stones in square shapes with metal clay. Not only will you learn to set stones, but you’ll also learn how to add details that are not only pretty, but functional, before then firing the piece with a torch.

In the Abalone Wave course, you will learn to create stunning textures with metal clay. You can create either a pendant or a pair of earrings. Once the piece is torch-fired, piece together pieces of abalone shells to create a shimmering effect before setting it with resin. Sulie will also be teaching three other courses at Bead Fest, just make sure to get on the waitlist. The Introduction to Metal Clay and Elegant Lichen Pendant courses are perfect for beginners while you will be more comfortable with the Anticlastic Metal Clay Ring course if you have some experience with the clay already.
