Kumihimo Wirework Made Easy: Waterfall Earrings

A truly unique design, the Waterfall Earrings from Christina Larsen’s book Kumihimo Wirework Made Easy were a perfect example of one design inspiring another.

While designing the Cabochon Necklace for the book, Christina wanted to create a piece that incorporated the ends of the braids as a style element in the design. The resulting Waterfall Earrings utilize these braid ends to create intersecting lines resulting in a waterfall effect within the teardrop earring. You can also choose to emphasis this waterfall design within your earrings by adding beads.
