Kumihimo Wirework Made Easy: Collar Necklace
While simple wire kumihimo on its own can be truly beautiful, adding beads into the mix can take jewelry to a whole new level. One such example of this is the Collar Necklace from Christina Larsen’s book Kumihimo Wirework Made Easy.
Utilizing the diagonal braid structure as a foundation, the Collar Necklace is adorned with three tiers of different sized round beads that create a gentle curve in the design. The result is a statement necklace that lies beautifully around the neck and allows the wirework to truly shine.
