Chevron Bracelet

As Christina Larsen’s first leather and wire kumihimo design, the Chevron Bracelet from her book Kumihimo Wirework Made Easy, is a unique and surprising statement piece.

In her design, she combines lengths of leather with thinner lengths of wire in one braid to create a unique texture that can only be archived when the two materials are combined. The chevron patterning created by braiding wire and leather together makes for a beautiful that you’ll love making just as much as you will wearing it.

• 21 1/3’ (6.5 m) of 26-gauge wire
• 5 1/3’ (1.7 m) of 1 mm leather cord
• 2 ribbon ends (13 mm)
• 3 jump rings (5 mm)
• 1 lobster claw clasp
• Extender chain

Required Tools
• Measuring tape
• Wire cutters or flush cutters
• Scissors
• Electrical tape
• Square kumihimo disk
• 2 pairs of flat-nose and chain-nose pliers
• E6000 glue
