Let the Interweave Knits Winter 2024 issue transport you to a winter wonderland of cozy knits! This remarkable edition features 14 extraordinary projects to immerse yourself in the uniqueness of specially crafted yarns.

My parents have more handmade holiday ornaments than purchased ones. Every December, handcrafted clay evergreen trees and paper snowflakes are carefully unpacked from one of several holiday décor boxes and displayed with pride around the house. These decorations are not perfect, but each one represents time and love crafted into a tangible, physical thing.

The past two years have brought home to me the value of the handmade. I didn’t get to see all my family for the holidays last year due to COVID, settling instead for video calls and lovingly made cards. Even though we were distant from each other, I could feel the love and affection of my family through the things we made for one another. The affection in handcrafted items is something we’ve tried to imbue into this special holiday issue of Cloth Paper Scissors. All the beautiful projects within these pages represent time and love wrapped up into something touchable.
