Jewelry Style Report for Autumn
New jewelry trends pop up nearly every day, some playing homage to older styles and others experimental and new. This fall, there are a few key jewelry trends rising to the surface. I’ve researched everything from runway shows to trending Pinterest images to share these jewelry trends that are here to stay. Let’s take a peek at the Fall 2022 jewelry trends that are inspiring us this season. We hope they’ll inspire your own jewelry-making!

Think Bold
Looking through my social media and even fashion week runway photos, it is abundantly clear to see that chunky jewelry is still in style. Chunky necklaces and bold earrings have become a staple in the style world for quite awhile, and are among my favorites. This season, expect to see chunky choker-length necklaces paired with chunky collar-length necklaces. For earrings, hoops are a must. Think about chunky hoops that are of moderate circumference, about 1-2″ around. More is more!

You’re Golden
Additionally, think golden hues when it comes to making jewelry this fall. You’ll win bonus points if your imaginary designs are chunky and make a statement. Make and wear ring designs that are inspired by antique, Victorian-style jewelry. Vivienne Westwood comes to mind with a polished punk style. Combine gold with dark stones and delicate pearls to create moody elements that will never go out of style.

Layering
Contradictory to the bold pieces we’re seeing this fall, delicate jewelry remains among the top jewelry trends. Layer these subtle necklaces with other pieces to create an impact. Delicate jewelry is very easy to style and is a great place to start if you want to embrace just one fall trend. These lighter pieces are made of a small chains and some feature a charm for a little something extra. Runway styles show layered, chunky necklaces in various lengths. Play with different looks to find your style.
