Events and Happenings Around the 2020 Tucson Shows

You might think of the annual Tucson shows as just a place to shop for gems, jewelry, minerals, fossils, and beads. And that is, of course, the main purpose of the shows. But did you know there’s a lot more going on in Tucson during the shows? Meetings, lectures, seminars, parties, dinners, classes and workshops, and much more — all take place in conjunction with the usual shows.

Attached is a list of the major events happening during the Tucson shows. Many (but certainly not all) of them are invitation-only or open just to members. But if something grabs your interest, visit the websites provided and look into attendance policies. These groups are always happy to hear from you — and they love new members.

As you can see, there is a lot going on during the annual Tucson shows in addition to the shows themselves. Yes, it can be overwhelming. But if you need help getting around to all of the various locations, don’t fear! The 2019 Tucson Show Guide includes a pull-out map of the shows and venues which will get you where you need to go.

And if you get hungry (or bored) between shows and classes and workshops and seminars and events and parties, the map covers that, too! It includes the sites of some awesome restaurants, places of interest, and local businesses for your convenience and your dining pleasure.

The map is included in the print version of the 2020 Tucson Show Guide. But you can also find it here.

For complete information on all of the 2020 Tucson gem shows (dates, times, locations, vendors, floor plans, and more) as well as the amazing Tucson map, be sure to pick up your copy of the 2020 Tucson Show Guide.

See you around the shows (and the parties)!
