✓Let the Interweave Knits Winter 2024 issue transport you to a winter wonderland of cozy knits! This remarkable edition features 14 extraordinary projects to immerse yourself in the uniqueness of specially crafted yarns.
When Christina Larsen set about designing a pair of braided wire earrings for her book Kumihimo Wirework Made Easy, she knew they had to be something approachable but unique. The result: The Celtic Earrings, which use a basic diagonal kumihimo structure that is shaped into a beautiful Celtic-inspired knot.
Braided wire lends itself well to holding the unique shaping required to make the Celtic Earrings, and is beautiful either on its own or adorned with dangling beads. Whether you decide to use beads or not, finishing these earrings with patina adds an enchanting antique look that complements the Celtic style.
