Wrap Up in This Rustic Fall Shawl

Start unpacking your sweaters and planning your next crochet shawl project. Fall is almost here, and I couldn’t be more excited. Crochet shawls, sweaters, cowls, and beanies are my favorite attire, and soon I will be able to wear them again.

Now is also the time when I excitedly begin searching for pieces to add to my collection. Have you seen the Chestnut Wrap? This crochet shawl has a gorgeous rural quality with its nature inspired design. I would wear this wrap with a long-sleeved shirt, jeans, and a great pair of boots. Come on fall; hurry up!

The construction of the Chestnut Wrap is unique and fun as well. You begin with the 24 variegated crochet leaf motifs that form the edging. These leaves are joined as you go and then blocked. You then work the shawl into the leaf edging before finishing at the neckline. The rustic shawl works up quickly in a warm DK-weight yarn. I love the gold color of the shawl, and the wool and acrylic blend yarn is both cozy and soft.

We have created a special kit for this crescent-shaped shawl. For a special price you will receive a copy of Love of Crochet Fall 2016 with the Chestnut Wrap pattern and yarn for your own beautiful shawl.

Order your copy of the Chestnut Wrap Kit today before they are all gone!

Best wishes,
