Vote for a Free Crochet Hat Pattern

I am excitedly putting together the next Crochet Me free eBook. This one will feature crochet beanies. I must have at least five or six beanies at home, simple crochet hats that I can grab to keep warm on a chilly fall or winter day.

The process of choosing patterns for free eBooks is both fun and stressful. I want to choose patterns that you will all love. So this time I am giving part of the choice to you. Which crochet hat would you like included in next month's free eBook?

Crochet Cable HatThe Diamonds and Lace Hat by Linda Permann is from Robyn Chachula's new book Simply Crochet. This crochet cable hat is worked in a fine sock yarn to create warmth and style without a lot of bulk. For a little more fun, Linda suggests trying the pattern in a self-striping sock yarn with a long repeat, or use a solid or kettle dyed yarn to really show of the texture of the stitches.

Granny Square HatThe Jamie Hat by Kristin Omdahl uses the seamless crochet technique from her latest book, Seamless Crochet. A traditional square motif makes up the body of this unisex beanie. Try a feminine yarn color for a woman's hat or play with striping yarn.

Now the choice is up to you. Vote below for which hat you want to see in next month's free eBook. Voting will close Monday morning, September 24th at 10 a.m. mountain time.

Best wishes,
