Sugar Maple Shawl

This colorful shawl stays on your shoulders with its V-shaped top edge. This easy pattern uses sock-weight yarn, cluster stitches, as well as a shell pattern edging.

Finished Size:
About 52″ wide across top edge and 28″ long from top to bottom at center.
Yarn:
Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock (80% superwash wool, 20% nylon; 215 yd [197 m]/2 oz [57 g]): #610 zombie bbq, 8 hanks.
Hook:
Size H/8 (5 mm) and G/6 (4.25 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions:
Yarn needle.
Gauge:
7 reps (22 sts including 1 dc) = 4½” and 11 rows (including set-up dc row) = 4″ in fb-sh patt with larger hook, blocked.
