Reversible Coasters with Contrast Stitching Crochet Pattern

Introduction

Here is the crochet pattern details for this set of reversible coasters with contrasting stitching that I made up for my Gran.  Her birthday and anniversary fall on 4th of July so I made this set in red, white and blue with stitching that reminded me of fireworks. 🙂  It’s a very beginner friendly pattern that works up in no time.  If you have a little bit of time you can make up a whole set in a sitting. Happy crafting!

Materials List

Desired color(s) yarn for your coasters (You will want 2 main colors and a contrast color for stitching)
I used red, white and blue yarn for the set in the pictures
(I use a lot of Red Heart Saver yarn but any medium to normal weight yarn will do)
“J” hook (6.0 mm)
Scissors or Yarn Cutter
Blunt large eye yarn / tapestry needle to weave in ends

One size -standard
