Put a Little Fizz in Your Autumn

Put a Little Fizz in Your Autumn

Are you ready for scarf weather? I can’t tell you how excited I am! Cool temperatures, the leaves changing, and a chance to show off my crochet are almost here. Perhaps it is time to add to my growing crochet scarf collection. We have recently created a special limited time kit for the Fizz Scarf by Shelby Allaho. This lace scarf is gorgeous and the pattern meets my top two perfect scarf pattern points.

1. Easy Care Yarn

When I begin a new crochet scarf pattern, I always imagine myself in my wool pea coat and incredible new scarf strolling with friends down the walking path along the creek. Instead I am more likely to need a nice warm scarf when I head out to grocery shop, shovel the walk, or help a friend. Because I use my scarves so frequently, I lean towards using easy care yarns. And my favorite yarn is superwash wool.

The Mrs. Crosby Steamer Trunk yarn used for the Fizz Scarf is perfect. It is a gorgeous and soft superwash Merino wool in a worsted 4-ply yarn that works up quickly and is perfect for highlighting lace and cable designs.

2. Quick Pattern

I’m a little impatient, so I love quick patterns—something I can finish in a week and show off over the weekend or whip up as a quick gift. This means that I have a large number of worsted-weight crochet lace designs in my queue. These oversized lace patterns are perfect for winter. They are gorgeous and eye-catching but surprisingly warm.

Enjoy the cooler weather of fall and add a few more incredible crochet scarves to your wardrobe. Order your Fizz Scarf Kit while they are still available.

Best wishes,
