Holiday Cheer Word Art for a DIY Christmas

Everyone is in need of some holiday cheer! Whether you’re decorating your home or planning a gift for a loved one, the Holiday Cheer Word Art from Love of Crochet Winter 2017 is the ticket for spreading that holiday happiness. Share the joy by enlisting family members to help you stitch and stuff.

The pattern includes instructions to make the letters H, J, Y, and a Santa belly sphere to create an O. You can easily compose some Santa cheer (ho ho ho) or your own cheer (joy). The Os are crocheted from the top down; the Hs are crocheted in two parts and sewn together.

The pattern also includes a mini Santa hat to place on any of the letters and a holiday leaf. Arrange or rearrange however you like. Set these letters on the mantel, hang them from the tree, or glue them to a piece of old barn wood—the possibilities are endless.
