Butterscotch Cardigan by Julia Vaconsin, from IC Spring 2008.
Yarn: Wollmeise 100% Merino Superwash, "Pesto" colourway – 3 skeins
Thoroughly enjoyed this pattern – there’s something very soothing about row after row of double crochet (or single crochet, as per US terminology 😉
Blocked to measurements, except for the length – I squeezed another two inches out of the fabric to make it a bit longer. With hindsight, I would not have had enough yarn to add extra stitches for the same result – I had less than 15g left in the end!
The fabric feels fantastic and squishy, and I love the collar – this is going to be one of my favourite cardigans once the weather starts to cool again.
Entered in the Royal Canberra Show, February 2010, and won first prize 🙂
