Peerie Baby Blanket

In Fair Isle knitting patterns, peerie means “small”–peerie patterns are made up of repeats of just a few stitches and rows. I wanted this baby blanket to look like expanded peerie patterns. Instead of each square on the diagram representing a single stitch, each square stands for a little crocheted square. This results in a simple, pixelated colorwork pattern.
