Ombre Stripes Blanket
Jess @ Chaleur Life
The double strands and large hook make it a fast project, and the simple stitch makes it mindless enough to make while watching TV.  The secret to this blanket though, is the stripe pattern.  By combining the colors in a unique way, the blanket has a modern, ombré design.
2,682 yards of Aran weight yarn in the following amounts (Yardage is just an estimate based off the weight of remaining yarn, and therefor may be slightly off! Â If you are purchasing yarn for this project that has a dye lot, please make sure you have a little extra just in case):
- 812 yards of color A/lightest color
- 1,259Â Â Yards of color B/middle color
- 611 Yards of Color C/darkest color
