My Favorite Crochet Headbands

How do you keep your hair out of your face? Growing up my drawers were full of barrettes, elastic hair ties, and headbands. My hair was long and the wind was constant. I loved my long hair growing up, but a few years after I graduated from college and started my first “real” job, it was time to chop it off. I wanted to look older-those were the days.

This crochet headband is stunning.

Now I am growing my hair back out. I love being able to play with ponytails and braids, but I do find it getting in my way a lot more. So now I am looking for the perfect crochet headband patterns. I need a couple. I want one that is perfect for holding my hair back year-round, but I also want a warm wool headband that will keep my ears warm in the winter.

The first pattern I am going to try is the Rapunzel Bad Hair Day Headband by Brenda K. B. Anderson. Strips of crochet are braided together before a simple edging is added to create a gorgeous headband. This headband pattern is fun and would tame my hair beautifully.

Join me as I crochet my Rapunzel’s Bad Hair Day Headband.

Best wishes,

P. S. So you wear headbands?
