Lucy-Lou 2, for Steph
When I've found myself not getting anything done for work, I've spent my time productively by working up the long-ago promised Lucy-Lou for my good friend Steph. She's done, and she's got a story (two words: home perm). But I won't tell you that story or show you more of her until Steph has her safe in hand. Which might not be for a bit, because I know I don't have my sh*t together enough to get her into the mail today and likely not tomorrow.
Last night in a fit of needing to eliminate items from my never-ending WIPs list, I ripped out my very first sock. I hated knitting it. The heel was a disaster. The needles were too small. Now I'm free to knit other socks, which I'd very much like to do. And I'm unburdened from the unpleasant sock staring at me, languishing in it's pretty but torturous state of needing to be worked on.
To all celebrating, have a very happy Thanksgiving!
