Large Lighthouse Nautical Applique Crochet Pattern

Here is my newly crocheted lighthouse applique for a set of nautical inspired gifts made for my grandparents.  The applique in the picture already found a home on a striped nap pillow that I will be adding the pattern in a little bit but I plan on using multiple copies of this lighthouse to make a large blanket for their Christmas gift. Shh don’t tell them. 😉  Let me know if you have any questions. Happy crafting!

Materials List

Black yarn  for lighthouse main color and trim
White yarn for white stripes
Golden / yellow yarn for light deck level
(I use a lot of Red Heart Saver yarn but any medium to normal weight yarn will do)
“J” hook (6.0 mm)
Scissors or Yarn Cutter
Blunt large eye yarn / tapestry needle to weave in ends

Finished Size

One size – large applique

Worked in rows, side to side
