Pattern of the Week: Harmonious Pillow
Pillows are such a great way to add personality to an apartment or home without redoing the entire décor. I recently wrote about 5 pillows I’m using to spice up my apartment style, and now I have another to add to my list! Susanna Tobias’s Harmonious Pillow from Interweave Crochet Fall 2018 is a corner-to-corner design that will work up quickly and make a great accent piece. It’s already on my hook!
The Harmonious Pillow uses a pure wool yarn to create a lattice-textured design sure to add charm to your home. This pattern falls in line with the latest trend—farmhouse-chic—popularized by HGTV star Joanna Gaines. With its muted gray color and added texture, this pillow will make any space feel cozy and warm. Just add post stitches as you increase and decrease the design to create a pillow that blends with any décor, even if you aren’t into the Magnolia look. The corner-to-corner technique also makes the sizing easy to adjust if you want a different size or two to add variety.
If your apartment could use a redesign, take a few tips from Fixer Upper and add this beautiful pillow to your couch. This harmonious project is so quick and easy, you’ll be sure to finish it before the next issue hits!
