How to Treble Crochet 6 Together

Crocheters, have you ever wondered how to treble crochet 6 together? It’s a fairly uncommon decrease, for sure, but it does turn up sometimes. And, like any decrease, it’s fairly straightforward once you wrap your head around it. Crochet decreases can be used to shape sweaters, bags, shawls, and so much more. Today, let’s walk through how to treble crochet six together, as well as share some resources for other crochet decreases.

Treble Crochet 6 Together

What stitch are you working? A treble crochet! Yarn over twice, insert hook in next stitch or space, [yarn over and pull through 2 loops] twice (only partially finishing the stitch and leaving an extra loop to remain on the hook). Repeat this.

How many stitches are being worked together? 6! So you will repeat the partial stitch above 6 times, leaving 7 loops on the hook. You’ll complete the decrease by working a final yarnover and pulling the yarn through all 7 loops on the hook.

Applying this method will allow you to work everything from a single crochet 2 together (sc2tog) to a triple treble 10 together (trtr10tog)! You can figure out any kind of decrease.
