This geometric crochet shawl can be made as a series of motifs, which are then joined, or using the join-as-you-go method. Either way, the construction and size is entirely up to you! The border motifs could be eliminated for a very pretty, graphic-looking scarf, or you could sew underarm seams and wear this like a shrug over a summer dress.
FINISHED SIZE: About 13″ tall × 32″ wide (33 × 81.5 cm), buttoned.
YARN: DK weight (#3 Light) Shown here: Berroco Weekend DK (75% acrylic, 25% cotton; 268 yd [247 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #2964 curry, 3 hanks.
NOTIONS: Yarn needle; 4 toggles.
HOOK: Size G/6 (4 mm).
GAUGE: 1 motif measures 2½” (6.5 cm) from point to point.
