Honeycomb Neck Warmer

A simple and elegant alternative to a scarf, this neck warmer slips easily over your head and tucks neatly into your coat. The pretty scalloped edge created by the shells makes it just as pretty to wear alone over a sweater to keep your neck nice and toasty. The intricate texture of the offset hourglass shaping in post stitches and shells reminds me of the network texture of honeycomb and will probably make observers want to take a closer look. This pattern can be found in Kristin Omdahl's Crochet So Fine.
