Heart Baby Blanket

Introduction

This Heart Baby Blanket is crocheted in dc (UK pattern-readers – trebles) using increases and decreases. The pattern shows you exactly what to do, and provides stitch-counts for every row, so you don’t get lost!

Worked from the bottom up, shorter rows are crocheted for the top two parts of the heart. Then a pretty shell edging completes the look.

Materials List

Four balls of Aran weight 100% acrylic with an H8/5.00mm hook – two balls of each color. I used about a ball and a half of each color for this version of the pattern.

You could also crochet the main body of the heart in one color, edging it with a contrasting color.

Finished Size

Height: 84cm/33″ from top to bottom

Width: 89cm/35″ across at the widest point.
