Get Down with the Gingko – One Shawl, Three Ways
Sometimes you just need a shawl you can wear with multiple outfits for multiple occasions. Well, the Gingko Shawl fits those needs to a T. Not only can it be worn at the office to dress up those drab cubicles, but also it can be worn for multiple other occasions including Sunday morning brunch and date night!
If you’re wondering how Sara, Dana, and I decided to style the Gingko Shawl, just check out the photos!
Sara decided to pair the shawl with a comfortable jersey dress and a jacket. Then, she kicked up the action with an awesome pair of boots and topped it all off with a knit hat. She styled the shawl like a long kerchief, so the center detail would be clearly visible.
Sunday brunch was the destination for my shawl, so I paired it with black pants and a shimmery gray top. Black Mary Janes, a black purse, and a headband finished off the look. As for the shawl itself, I wore it in the traditional fashion, draped over the shoulders with the ends hanging in the front.
Dana’s outfit is perfect for a relaxed night out on the town. If you’re not one to wear a little black dress, but you still want to dress up, this outfit will work for you! Dana matched leather shoes and a leather purse with a leather jacket and then accessorized with silver jewelry. She styled the shawl similarly to Sara’s but with less of a structured look.
Now that you’ve seen our looks for the Gingko Shawl, what are some of yours, and what colorway would you stitch it in? Would you use it to dress up, dress down, or just dress warm? No matter what you choose, please let us know in the comments! We can’t wait to hear what you decide!
