Get to Know Interweave+

There’s a new kid in town and we call her Interweave+. Interweave+ is the culmination of years of your favorite magazines, patterns, and projects. She holds the key to contributions from artists top in their field. She will be the home of new patterns and projects to come and so much more! Take a walk with me and get to know her.

Interweave+ membership gives you instant access to over 8,000 projects, spanning all the Interweave communities. These projects are all you would expect from Interweave–the designs on-trend or classic in style with instructions that are clear and well written.

How Does Interweave+ Work?

As you explore the patterns available to members, you can easily download and get to making! Yes. It’s that easy to access the perfect project today and get to work. Everything you download stays in a folder so you can find the project again later—no need to go searching. This is particularly handy if you use multiple devices. I might be on my phone when I download a new project, which makes it really great to shop for the materials I need. Then, when I’m ready to work on it, I might want to view my project on my tablet, so I can “see” what I need to do next on a larger screen. It’s a beautiful thing!

Not ready to work on something today, but you’re in the mood to browse and look for inspiration? Use the filtering system to find what you’re seeking or to find things you didn’t know you were interested in! When you preview a page with patterns, you can “favorite” or “save” the ones you like by clicking the “heart.” This option places your favorites in a folder for easy reference—like a virtual bookmark. Then, when you’re ready to get started, you can easily find the ones you love and download the full instructions.

Get Social

Did you happen to catch the “Join the Discussion” on the image above that shows your downloads? Once you download a project or pattern, the option to “join the discussion” is front and center, so dive in! Tell others why you chose this project and what your plans are. Will you change the yarn or maybe make a vest instead of a sweater with sleeves? Change the gemstone you’ll be setting? Substitute your favorite color beads in a beadweaving project? Start the conversation with our Interweave+ community.

As you dive deeper into Interweave+, you’ll see how the discussion threads come together and how you can unite with other makers. You can choose to follow others and see their activity in your feed and/or you can connect to engage directly. See activity within your discussions or take a step back and see what’s happening across the entire Interweave+ community. It’s a place for all of us to come together, share our passions, triumphs, stumbles, and successes.

All of this activity can be viewed in your profile, which is shared with those who follow you. This is one of the unique features of Interweave+. It’s a social platform rolled into an extraordinary library of patterns and projects. A place to connect with like-minded artists and makers. A place to share with those who get you and even with those who can help you as you make progress on a project.
