For Kyle Baby Blanket

This simple stitch pattern makes a gentle ripple for a classic baby blanket.

Skills used
Basic crochet stitches: chain, double crochet, single crochet, slip stitch
Working in rows and working in rounds (for border)
Increasing, and decreasing by skipping stitches
Changing colors

Materials List
Lion Brand Pound of Love (16 oz/454 g/1020 yds/932 m/100% acrylic) – 1 skein each in 110 Denim (CA) and 148 Turquoise (CB), or approximately 700 yds (640 m) in CA and 790 yds (722.4 m) in any medium weight yarn.

US Size I-9 (5.5 mm) crochet hook, or any size needed to obtain gauge.

Yarn needle.

Finished Size
Baby Blanket: 31” (79 cm) length x 37” (94 cm) width.

17 sts x 11 rows = 4” (10 cm) in pattern. Exact gauge is not critical for this project.
