F21 Knockoff Infinity Scarf
This is a classic case of “crafter see, crafter think, ‘I could make that'”. This pattern is based off a scarf I saw in Forever 21 that I loved but knew I could easily crochet myself. This is a very flexible pattern that adapts well to most types of yarn and most gauges, so don’t feel restricted by what I used for this project! Go crazy!
What I used:
1 7-oz skein Caron Simply Soft Berry Blue (worsted weight)
Hook size J/10 (6.0 mm)
Stitch marker (not strictly necessary, but using a stitch marker made this pattern easier to write)
(when relaxed; finished scarf is pretty stretchy)
Width: 8 inches (20 cm)
Circumference: 56 inches (142 cm)
Gauge not important; judge by eye how wide and long you want your scarf to be.
The first ch-4 (the turning chain) counts as the first stitch.
My original scarf consisted of 10 pattern repeats in 57 rows. If you want to make it wider or narrower, add or subtract from your starting chain in multiples of 3.
Let me reiterate that this is more of a stitch pattern than a scarf pattern. Choose whatever yarns you like with an appropriate hook size and adjust the width and length as you please!
