Equipoise Beret
Lily debuted her double-ended crochet floatless colorwork technique in Interweave Crochet‘s Winter 2010 Issue. Here it goes to her head with the addition of increasing and decreasing to create remarkable geometry.

Finished Size: 18 (19¼, 20½)” circumference, 11 (12, 13)” across widest point of circle.
Yarn: The Fibre Company Road to China (Kelbourne Woolens) (65% baby alpaca, 15% silk, 10% cashmere, 10% camel); 69 yd [63 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]; CYCA #4): #881 riverstone (A) and #488 moonstone (B), 2 skeins each for all sizes. Note: 3 skeins each if working 2 hats.
Hook Size: H/8 (5 mm) double-ended Tunisian hook and G/6 (4 mm) standard hook for size S, I/9 (5.5 mm) double-ended Tunisian hook and G/7 (4.5 mm) standard hook for size M, J/10 (6 mm) double-ended Tunisian hook and H/8 (5 mm) standard hook for size L. Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain gauge.
Notions: St marker (m); yarn needle.
Gauge: 16 (15, 14) sts and 14 (13, 12) rows = 4″ in Tss for size S (M, L).
