These pretty white snowflakes are made from white 4ply yarn, they are really quick and simple to make. However the catch is ……… to make them look their best you need to spend a bit of time blocking which is a bit fiddly with all the pointy bits but I think it is time well spent, I then used some spray starch to stiffen them up. I added some silver bugle beads and the simple chain stitch hangers in both silver and white.
I have hung them on some natural untreated twigs from the garden and displayed in my contemporary silver vase, I am rather pleased with my winter decoration. To make it more festive you can add some miniature Christmas baubles. These snowflakes would also make a lovely decorative addition to a winter wedding.
The pattern for these snowflakes can be found here Attic 24, a big thank you to Lucy or sharing her lovely patterns.
