The cowslip is a favorite flower of the fairies of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. This skirt is worked in shells to the motif strips. Four spiral motifs joined together in strips echo shells found along the beach on a summer’s day. A stitch diagram of the motifs and plus sizing make this a versatile pattern for many crocheters.
