Chunky EP Boot Cuffs

Fun, easy and quick to work up, these chunky boot cuffs will add a little warmth and style to those chilly fall and winter days! Can be easily adjusted for size just by adding or subtracting multiples of 3.

PATTERN – Written in US Terminology


Bulky Weight Yarn – I used approximately one skein of Lion Brand Jiffy (135 yards)

8.0 mm (L) Hook

Yarn needle

Finished Size

Suggest measuring calf (or area you expect to wear the cuff) and chain by multiples of three to size needed and remember the yarn will stretch some when the cuff is worn so you have more wiggle room.  Given that they will be tucked into boots sizing is a little more flexible as well. This pattern measures approximately 17″ (43cm) measured around largest part of calf, which is probably L/XL. 


Special Stitches Embossed Pockets (EP)– Pockets are worked in groups around the post of previous DC round. Work (1 FPSC, 1 FPHDC, 3 FPDC) around indicated post.
