Celebrate Doilies with Suzann Thompson

Love doilies? How about quilts? Suzann Thompson loves both and has combined them in a traveling exhibit called Celebrate Doilies!
You may recognize her name from Love of Crochet and Interweave Crochet magazines. Suzann designed the popular Chestnut Wrap from Love of Crochet Fall 2016 and the cover project from Interweave Crochet Spring 2015, the Dogwood Scarf.
Now Suzann has created and curated an installation of quilts, doilies, stories and poetry about crochet and needlework.

Celebrate Doilies!
Created and curated by Suzann Thompson, Celebrate Doilies includes Suzann’s doily-themed quilts.
Among the quilts, you will find photos and stories about crocheters from local families and beyond. Texas poet Sandi Horton joins the mix with poetry inspired by needlework heirlooms passed down to her by family members.
Celebrate Doilies will be available to travel to other venues beginning in October 2017. For more information contact Suzann at knitandcrochetwithsuzann@outlook.com.

Doesn’t every crocheter have a special place in their heart for doilies?
